About Carp
Carp is a village with a rural community around it on the western edge of the City of Ottawa, best known for the Diefenbunker museum, the farmers' market, and the Carp Fair. Past the village core you'll find working farms, hobby farms, estate acreage, and small rural subdivisions.
The work follows the geography. Tight village lots take smaller bins placed with care. Farm properties and rural acreage get 20 yard bins for clear-outs, barn removals, and full-property refreshes. Diamond View and Hidden Lake behave more like suburban pockets and are serviced the same way.

Bin & Dumpster Rental for Carp Homeowners
Out on rural properties, the request is usually volume: barns and outbuildings holding decades of stored material, estate downsizing, whole-home renovations, and roofing. A 20 yard over a long weekend is the usual answer.
Inside the village, projects look like any small-town job — a kitchen updated, a bathroom gutted, a roof replaced on schedule — and a 14 yard fits most Carp Village driveways.
Contractor Bin Service in Carp
Rural home builders, agricultural contractors, and demolition crews taking down old barns book with us across the west end. When the site is a half-hour from downtown, scheduling reliability isn't a nice-to-have.
We also work with rural roofers, who deal with the multi-slope roofs common on West Carleton properties more often than their city counterparts.
Request a QuoteRenovations
A rural renovation almost always outproduces its urban equivalent — bigger houses, extra outbuildings, and years of stored material uncovered along the way. Plan on a 20 yard with a swap available rather than hoping one bin covers it.
Roofing Projects
Roofing splits between standard shingle tear-offs on village houses and larger, more complicated rural roofs. Village jobs fit the 14 yard; the 20 is the right call once the roof area or layer count climbs.
Roofing bin sizesConstruction Debris
Building in West Carleton means custom rural homes plus smaller infill in Diamond View and Hidden Lake. Either way the 20 yard construction bin is the standard, and swaps are available through the build.

Prefer a full-service crew loading everything for you? We also offer junk removal across Carp — a great option for estate clean-outs and downsizing when you don't want to lift a finger.
Junk removal serviceChoosing the Right Bin Size in Carp
Village-lot project: 14 yard. Farm work, rural clear-out, or barn teardown: 20 yard. Shed or garage tidy-up: 10 yard. Rural driveways nearly always have the room for the largest bin, so err upward when the volume is unclear.

Permits fall under City of Ottawa rules. Rural access is the real variable: weight-limited culverts, soft shoulders during spring thaw, gates that need unlocking. Private and unmaintained roads need coordination in advance, so describe the approach when you book.
